Healing with Pressure Points. Best methods to deal with injuries.

* Healing with Pressure Points

One of the oldest arts in the world is that of Healing with Pressure Points. I am sure everyone who will read this article is familiar with acupuncture. Perhaps you have even had some done yourself. I have on several occasions and the results were amazing.  In fact my Kyusho Jitsu teacher GM Dr. Steve Stewart is a doctor of acupuncture. I event took a course from him back in 2012 on healing.

But that is really not what I am talking about here today. Today I want to examine how important healing is to Kyusho Jitsu.

Healing with Pressure Points - Balance

The first thing I will mention here is that really success with the science of pressure point self defense means balance. When are are constantly activating pressure points and meridians on your training partner you are doing damage. The damage often times does not show right away either. It can take hours, days or even weeks to appear.

If you take your training seriously this mean that a lot of emotional energy is put into your work. And that energy can at times be very negative too! Why this this? Because we are human and frustration comes in when we train.

And since we are activating pressure point, some of which are important energy centers we leave traces of this negativity behind. Not to mention the negativity of the pain the Uki will experience.  Therefore for balance sake, we need to heal the partner or Uki

Healing with Pressure Points - The Uki

Keeping your training partner healthy is a must if you want him or her to continue to work with you. Over the years I have seen some very overzealous practitioners who others just do not wish to work with. Most people have to go to work the next day! Therefore fixing the damage you do is a must!

Healing With Pressure Points - Knockouts

One of the most important aspects of healing is when we are dealing with Pressure Point Knockouts which can be dangerous if not understood.

Now I have "pet peeve" when it comes to knockouts. And that is when people allow the training partner or Uki to FREE fall after the knockout. I have had arguments with Kyusho instructors about this. it is reckless and stupid to do this!

* SP-06 Healing with Pressure Points

If the Uki injuries themselves while in free fall you become negligent in the eyes of the law! Not to mention unneeded pain and suffer of your training partner!

Have spotters to CATCH the Uki as they fall!

The next step is to revive or resuscitate the Uki. There are 3 methods I teach in my Kyusho Home Study Course and I find these to be the best. There are others also. Here are the 3.

  1. Head
  2. Lung or breathing
  3. Heart

Bilateral Warning - Healing with Pressure Points

One thing with regard to Uki/training partners health. When you are activating pressure point stick to one side of the body. Do not strike one side to the other. This amplifies the effect and will cause issues down the road. Always be safe!

Healing with Pressure Points in Conclusion

Healing with Pressure Points Conclusion

Healing with pressure points should be a major part of your training.

And a major priority given to the well being of your training partner.

There is a lot to be said about all of this when working with an Uki, but it is just too much for one article. And thank you fro reading Healing with Pressure Points!

Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy. Why directions have relevance

* Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy

Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy. Master Level Kyusho principle!!! The world has tremendous magnetic properties. Have you ever considered the POWER of the North Pole, or more correctly Magnetic North Pole, for it to influence a compass pointer anywhere on the planet?

And therefore it is only logical that it has an influence on YOU as well.

So today I am going to discuss Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy Theory.

As you train and begin to MASTER the science of pressure point self defense we call Kyusho Jitsu you begin to "Stack" together the various principles, theories and concepts of Kyusho with other more ambiguous theories like the Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy Theory. And when you do the results are amazing!

So what are you stacking with Kyusho Jitsu Direction Energy? One of the basics, the Cycle of Destruction

Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy - Breakdown

These are the directions energy flows. Each element flows from the corresponding direction.

  • North – Water
  • South – Fire
  • East - Wood
  • West - Metal
  • NW, NE, SW, SE – Earth

So how does this work? If my back is to the North, then "water" energy is flowing through me, to the Uki or attacker. Therefore I can use this, in the Cycle of Destruction against their fire. If my back is to the North then I begin the altercation with 3 elements present for my usage.

The attacker has, or is in "Fire" if their back is to the South, I can quench their fire with this water energy also. But I am sure you are seeing what I am driving at!

This is all very simple on the surface, but very hard to apply! However not impossible!

Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy - How I have used It

How close have you watch my knockouts on video? Have you ever seen me have the Uki turn around in the line? Whenever I am tired, and most of those older videos were filmed after 8:30 pm, or I am expecting a difficult time with the knockout I will make sure my back is to the North! Unless I am looking for a different effect!

What other principles can you stack with this one? Anything "Cycle of Destruction" based is the best place to begin! These are "stances" "colours" "Sound" and Alarm Points to name a few!

Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy in Conclusion

Kyusho Article CONCLUSION

Is this a powerful principle? Oh yes it is! Are you going to use it tomorrow?

Not a chance!

Yes you can certainly demonstrate it to your students, but we want to be at a level of unconscious application and that takes time!

This is part of the 4 stages of learning or competence. So how do you begin to use this one? First please do not put the cart before the horse! Make sure you have a solid grasp on the basics. Thank you for taking time to read Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy.

Kyusho Jitsu Directional Energy

But there is a way to prepare, to begin to get started. Carry a compass with you at all times. Always know where NORTH is. then you will begin to think in directions. Controlling where you are in your environment.

After time train yourself to know the direction by the position of the sun or stars.

So go back to your Dojo, or work with your Uki and give this a try.

Then please come back and tell me how you did right HERE

Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing? Why your predominate element is important.

* Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing

Sometimes there are arts within other arts. And when it comes to the science of pressure point self defense Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing is an art within an art. This is a very advanced principle and one of the most difficult to do with accuracy.

But if you can figure it out. You will discover the "POWER" that lies in this understanding.

As I know you are aware in Kyusho Jitsu we deal with the ancient 5 Element Theory. What this means is that every person is obviously comprised of each of the 5 elements. However each person has a "predominance" of what particular element. And once you can accurately and quickly perform a Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing you can apply the Cycle of Destruction and increase your effectiveness.

Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing Breakdown

i can tell you from the onset that it is beyond the scope of a single article to teach you how to do this. Today I will give you an outline, and you see how you do with it. But I will tell you some people are easy. While others are very difficult. And today with the obesity epidemic is is harder than ever to be accurate.

So lets take look.

First we will look at the fire person. Now I am a fire person. But I hide it well with a beard. In this article I am only going to discuss the "physical" attributes, not the personality, which is also part of the equation.

Fire Person

  • Broad shoulders.
  • Muscular build
  • V Shaped head, with a pointed chin
  • Small hands and feet
  • Less hair on the head and body (Balding does not count)

Earth Person

  • Large body and head
  • Barrel chested
  • Distended belly but not necessarily overweight
  • Wide jaw

Metal Person

  • Triangular build
  • Lean Body but muscular
  • Strong authoritative voice.

Wood Person

  • Small head
  • Long face
  • slender build
  • Average size feet and hands

Water Person

  • Rounded shoulders
  • Out of balance features
  • Round body
  • Odd looking back

This is only as I said the TIP of the iceberg when it comes to Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing.

However these are the most predominant qualities and a great place to start. I would also like to note that it is almost impossible to body type a teenager. They need to be fully gown first.

Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing in Conclusion

Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing CONCLUSION

I could really write an entire book on this topic. It is really that involved!

So how do you get good at this?

Take these samples and start to study people. And take notes! When you think you have figured out someone body type, then write down everything else you see about them.

Especially pay attention to mannerisms and personality traits! As an example if you are sure your best friend is earth. Keeping track of his personality will tell you a lot! The next time you encounter someone you think is also earth make a comparison!

This is how you get excellent doing this! Here is a link to a website called the Platinum Rule, this will help you to understand personality types and then you can relate them to the Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing exercise!

From this information, what body type are you? What brings you to this conclusion? Leave a comment here and let me know! Thank for reading Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing.

Special Purpose Pressure Points. High level Kyusho learning.

* Special Purpose Pressure Points

Today I am going to get into some very advanced level pressure point understanding. This is what I call "Special Purpose Pressure Points." This is truly master / grand master level knowledge.

And it is beyond the scope of a single article to teach this information. But, I am going to give a brief understanding of these Special Purpose Pressure Points.

When you have become proficient with the basics, things like the 15 Principles of Kyusho Jitsu then these Special Purpose Pressure Points will make more sense. Everything ties at some level into everything else.

There are 361 Pressure Points on the human body. Each with their own function and purpose. Some pressure points have more than one function. And these are the types of pressure points I will be discussing in today's article.

Special Purpose Pressure Points - Underlying Indicator Pressure Points

The first on my list today is what are referred to as "Underlying Indicator Points." When you understand these pressure points it opens up a Parthenon of possibilities for you. So what are these?

As you should be aware there are 12 Meridians on the body, each with their own relationship to an element. So as an example the Lung Meridian is a Metal Element Meridian.

On each meridian there is a pressure point which has a direct relation to a different element

As an example LU-05 is the Underlying Indicator Point for WATER. Therefore when activated water is added to the lung meridian.

This is an over simplification, but we are looking at the destructive potentials, not the healing potential which is what most people would be familiar with in acupuncture

Special Purpose Pressure Points

Special Purpose Pressure Points - Confluent Pressure Points

The next on the list is the Confluent Pressure Points. These pressure points for Kyusho Jitsu have a very powerful and important effect.  When activated they will cause a weakness to occur in a certain area of the body. Thereby making the area much easier to attack, and the subsequent damage greater.

The Intercostal Space

This is something very important to the "death touch" of Dim Mak.

PC-06 [Pericardium] is one such pressure point. When activated PC-06 weakens the chest.

Therefore any subsequent strike to the chest, such as SP-21 will have a magnified affect as the chest has lost much of its ability to defend itself.

There are 5 Confluent Pressure Points.

Special Purpose Pressure Points - Influential Pressure Points

This is another group of very interesting pressure points. These points when activated affect certain meridian and organ groupings. The points in these cases are activated by contact, but once contact is removed, the affect is gone also.

This group of 4 pressure points not only has an effect on the meridian, but will cause illness under certain circumstances to an entire group of organs. An example is LV-13 which influences the health of all the Yin organs of the body. This is a very powerful pressure point that has a delayed affect on the body. Perfect in Dim Mak setups.

Special Purpose Pressure Points - Collateral Pressure Points

The final set of pressure points in this grouping of Special Purpose Pressure Points are the Collateral Pressure Points

As I have mentioned before the Meridian system of the body is not as"black and white" as it appears to be.

The meridians are at the surface area of the body but in reality run far deeper.

After all they follow the nervous system which is more complex than we can imagine.

This is a grouping of pressure points that connect at a very deep level to another meridian

Kyusho Jitsu Nerve Strikes

There are 15 total and these have an important relationship to the 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle as well as Yin - Yang. This makes them VERY powerful for Kyusho Jitsu usage, but they are not easy to understand without a solid foundation in the basics.

As an example LV-06 connects directly to the Lung Meridian. This follows the 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle, as well as the Kyusho Jitsu Principle of Yin and Yang. Can you guess the result of activation?

Special Purpose Pressure Points in Conclusion

Kyusho Article CONCLUSION

As you can see this is not only very advanced information, but also very fascinating!

Using these requires a STRONG foundation in Kyusho Jitsu.

Now I am wonder have I been clear in this article? Do you get the basic idea of what I am talking about? Comment here!

And all of these pressure points are covered in my eBook Kyusho Pressure Point Anatomy. It is truly the Gray's Anatomy of Kyusho Jitsu. Thank you for taking time to read Special Purpose Pressure Points.

Kyusho Pressure Point EPS. What makes this concept important?

* Kyusho Pressure Point EPS

What is Kyusho Pressure Point EPS?

I have been remiss in my teaching for the science of pressure point self defense. My courses teach a lot of materials, including Kyusho Pressure Point EPS. But I forgot to breakdown exactly what E.P.S means.

Kyusho Pressure Point EPS - Novice E.P.S

Simply put at the Novice Level E.P.S stands for Element - Polarity - Striking Action. This term is linked directly to the study and attack of the meridians of the body.  Let's take a closer look shall we?

Novice E.P.S: The Element:

Each meridian on the body is represented by one of the five elements. These are either fire, metal, wood, earth or water.

When it then refers to Kyusho Pressure Point EPS we are considering the Cycle of Destruction. The cycle breaks down as follows:

  • Fire melts Metal
  • Metal chops Wood
  • Wood penetrates Earth
  • Earth dams Water
  • Water Quenches Fire
  • The Kyusho 5 Element Theory

So when you think about a meridian you ask yourself the question. "What is the element?"

Which element is being used to attack which meridian within this cycle.

    Novice E.P.S:  The Polarity

    Understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol

Each meridian and the organ represented has a specific polarity. They are either Yin or Yang.

On the human body there are 12 meridians total and 2 pairs of 6 with reference to Yin and Yang.

Here is a breakdown of polarity

    Yin Meridians

    • Heart
    • Lung
    • Pericardium
    • Kidney
    • Liver
    • Spleen

    Yang Meridian

    • Large Intestine
    • Small Intestine
    • Triple Warmer
    • Bladder
    • Gall Bladder
    • Stomach

Therefore when thinking about a meridian you would ask yourself "What polarity is this meridian?"

    Novice E.P.S: Striking Action

Because of the above information each meridian also has a "best method" of attack! What is the correct striking action? These striking actions are slapping, vibrating, chopping, penetrating and grasping.

As a full breakdown we have the following

    1. Fire - Slapping
    2. Metal - Vibrating
    3. Wood - Chopping
    4. Earth - Penetrating
    5. Water - Grasping

This then causes the question. "What is the striking action for the meridian based on the element?"

Kyusho Pressure Point EPS - Advanced Study

    Kyusho Jitsu Self Defense Tips
    Kyusho Pressure Point EPS

Well we can and do go a lot further with the idea of E.P.S than just the 3 in the Novice program. We can actually make this a large equation of questions.

    E.P.S.S.S.C.T

Yes that is correct at the advanced level we can use the above acronym! So why is this important? Because the brain works by asking questions.

Therefore using acronyms like this are a big aid in teaching and successful learning!

At the advanced level this is not always necessary. But it really does come in handy! So how about I break this entire acronym down for you. Remember this is all in reference to meridians.

    Kyusho Jitsu Factor - stance

For the purposes of the article and advanced study I will now look at the second part which is S.S.C.T

    1) S - Stance. What is the correct stances to use in an attack based on the meridian element?

    2) S - Sound. What is the correct destructive sound to be used to attack the meridian element?

    3) C - Colour. What is the destructive colour for the meridian and its corresponding element?

    4) T - Time of Day. What is the correct time of day of activation in the 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle for the meridian in question?

Please note that each of these principles above is linked to a detailed article explaining how it works. As of this writing I have not done one yet on striking actions, however I will soon.

Kyusho Pressure Point EPS in Conclusion

    Kyusho pressure Point EPS

The reason for the entire idea of Kyusho Pressure Point EPS is to help with learning.

The brain learns by association and that makes these kinds of acronyms very powerful.  And these tools greatly increase your odds of real success in the science of pressure point self defense.

So my question today. Did you know about EPS before you read the article? Comment with a Yes or No! I hope this help explain the idea behind Kyusho Pressure Point EPS and how it works in helping you develop a STRONG and clear understanding of how pressure points work.

Thank you for taking time to read about Kyusho Pressure Point EPS.

Kyusho Attack Along Meridian, How does this principle work?

    Kyusho Attack Along Meridian

I has been a while since I did a post about the 15 Principles of Kyusho Jitsu. But today I am going to explain and give details on the 1st Principles Kyusho Attack Along Meridian [Attack along the meridian]

The very basic idea behind this principle is to attack the meridian more than once. And as an example if you hit Pressure Point LU-01, in a perfect world you would then hit LU-11.

But LU-11 is just not one of those pressure points that is very easy to attack. But you could have a thumb lock.

However activation of the pressure point is not going to be optimal. But aside from that.

    Let's really get into this.

Kyusho Attack Along Meridian - Beginner

For the beginner the results you would be looking for is one that is "predictable". As an example if someone grabs your wrist and you strike LU-06 this will cause a release of the grip to your hand, as the attackers hand will open. The pain level they experience will vary with how tightly they were hold your hand.

Secondary reaction is the head coming forward and the front leg knee bending. Naturally this effect requires a decent strike using 2 Way Action. Below is a short video example of using this pressure point LU-06 with Kyusho Attack Along Meridian.

This effect can be further intensified if I was to strike LU-01 first. Now LU-01 is a VERY dangerous pressure point for several reasons. One of which is it an Alarm Point. However the example is all I am looking for here.

Plus if I hit LU-01 on the other side of the body, the effect will be even more intense!

Kyusho Attack Along Meridian - Deeper Look

The above examples are based on the beginner level and the idea of trying to cause pain or have a joint release. Pretty simple stuff.

But a deep look would be to actually cause a prolonged effect in the meridian itself. When a meridian is activated it can remain so for up to 20 minutes depending on the severity of the strike.

    Kyusho Attack Along Meridian
    Kyusho Pressure Point Activation

Here is another example. This is not necessarily an example valid for street usage, just how the principle works.

You have a hold on the index finger. Stimulating Pressure Point LI-01 [Large Intestine]. Next to use a knuckle and strike into Pressure Point LI-20, which is the far end of the meridian. Following this will a strike to LI-10 will bring the Uki to their knees. The arm will become numb and it will be very difficult to open and close the hand.

    LI-20 Painful Face Pressure Points

Attacking the 2 end pressure points on the meridian causes the energy to meet in the middle of the meridian. Then strike LI-10, which is the middle will yield a very strong result. This will also vary with the severity of the strikes to the various pressure points. And the resistance of the Uki. The more resistance the more pain/dysfunction.

This effect can last up to 20 minutes. So in other works you can effectively take the attackers arm out of the equation for up to 20 minutes when this principle is used correctly!

Kyusho Attack Along Meridian in Conclusion

    Kyusho Article CONCLUSION

These are the basics of the principle of Kyusho Attack Along Meridian.

When this principle is stacked with other Kyusho Jitsu Principles like the Cycle Of Destruction and/or the 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle then the effects become devastating!

I also have an excellent workshop on the principle of Kyusho Attack Along Meridian you can checkout HERE. Thank you for taking time to read Kyusho Attack Along Meridian.

Pressure Point Conception 17. What makes this Alarm Point dangerous?

    Kyusho Jitsu Self Defense Tips

Pressure Point Conception 17: For the last few months I have been doing articles on the various pressure points on the body. Today we will have a look at one of the pressure points that lies on a vessel. That is Pressure Point Conception 17. This is a HIGHLY Dangerous Pressure Point and should not be "played" with.

Pressure Point Conception 17 - Location

The pressure point CV-17 is on the mid-line of the sternum, between the nipples, level with the 4th intercostal space. Pressure Point CV-17 lies on a VESSEL of which there are 2 on the body. This one being called Conception and the second being Governor. The Conception Vessel is the primary source of all YIN energy in the body.

While Governor Vessel is the primary source of all YANG energy in the body.

Both Vessels run up the center-line of the body with their origins in the groin area. Both flow up towards the head and come together in the mouth. This flow of energy is referred to as the "minor microcosmic orbit."

Pressure Point Conception 17 - Alarm Point CV-17

Pressure Point Conception 17 is also an Alarm Point. A Kyusho Jitsu Alarm Point is a special purpose pressure point on the body that has a direct relationship to the organ in which it represents. In this case CV-17 is the Alarm Point for Pericardium sometime referred to as "heart 2".

Pericardium is a "sac" that surrounds and protects the heart. It is a working part of the heart. You can read about the pericardial sac here

    Pressure Point Conception 17

Being an Alarm Point in this case and its relationship to the heart also makes Pressure Point Conception 17 a very important Dim Mak Pressure Points as it can be used for delayed death touch.

Pressure Point Conception 17 - Effects

As I have stated this is a VERY dangerous pressure points. The first reason is that the sternum can be broke very easily! Death can result from this breakage. This has happened many times in situations like car accidents.

Striking this pressure point will cause an activation of the pericardium meridian bi-laterally on the body. And it will also cause a bilateral activation of all the rest of the Yin Meridians as well. A hard strike can cause the heart beat to be disrupted, which in someone with a heart issues could be deadly. A solid strike can cause cardiac arrest.

Hitting Pressure Point Conception 17 is a certain manner, in which I will not discuss here, can also cause a change in the functioning of the heart itself with the potential of damage to the nervous system feeding the heart. An energy strike can also damage the arteries in the area with the potential for an aneurysm to occur.

Pressure Point Conception 17 in Conclusion

    Pressure Point Conception 17

I cannot overstate how dangerous this pressure point is. It can be used for setup for many different Kyusho Jitsu situations however it can only be touched lightly for this purpose as physical damage to the area can happen very easily.

You can read more about Pressure Point Conception 17 and every other pressure point on the body from my boo Kyusho Pressure Point Anatomy.  Are there any other pressure points you would like me to write about here?

What Makes a Pressure Point Deadly?

    * What Makes a Pressure Point Deadly?

What makes a Pressure Point Deadly? I have been for several months now doing extensive articles on different pressure points for self defense on the body. But today I want to answer a specific question with this article. the question is "what makes a Pressure Point Deadly?" How can someone be killed with a pressure point strike.

So let's jump deep into this topic today!

What Makes a Pressure Point Deadly - The Points

I am not going to focus on specific pressure points in the article. I wrote an article back a little while ago called the Top 5 Deadly Pressure Points.  There is nothing mystical about pressure points. They are very simply a place on the body where a nerve ends, crosses over another nerve, or branches off like a "Y."

However because of the anatomy of the area, some pressure points are very dangerous, even deadly, while others have little to no effect at all! Today I will be explaining why certain pressure points are deadly, and the reasons why they are. This will also help you to learn to "map out" the body and know in advance that perhaps the pressure point in question might result in death.

Where is the pressure point located?

This is the first element we need to talk about to address this question, what makes a pressure point deadly.

We can first divide the body into 3 different categories or areas.

    1) The Head:

    * Dim Mak Pressure Point BL-10

Obviously ANY strike to the head has the potential to cause death. And this is because of the possibility of brain damage due to concussion, hemorrhaging etc. Depending on the part of the head the chances will vary greatly.

Many of the initial BLADDER pressure points are very dangerous because they fall in an area of the skull that can be damaged with little impact! In these cases death is not so much related to the pressure point as it is to the strength of the skull itself.

That being said there are pressure points like BL-10 that can cause serious injury and death because of the pressure points association to the nerve, and the functioning of the nerve and related organs.

One possible affect is the shutdown of the muscles in the area that protect the brain stem and the integrity of the skull to the spine. This is what makes a Pressure Point Deadly.

An energy strike will have other effects like those explained here

    2) The Chest & Abdomen:

Naturally when we discuss the chest area we immediately think of the heart and lungs. And the rib-cage which protects them. However here we have a host of nerves and pressure points that have a direct relationship to different arteries and vessels, as well as the organs themselves.

As an example we can look at one pressure point that everyone is curious about. This is Spleen 21. I consider this one to be the most dangerous pressure point on the body because it servers many different special functions.

But let's look at it purely based on the question, "what makes a pressure point deadly?"

    *Deadly Pressure Point SP-12

"As you can see from the above diagram SP-21 is located on the ribs, about center of the bicep with the arms hanging. The exact location is on the lateral aspect of the chest, on the mid-axillary line, in the 6th intercostal space. An intercostal space is the "meat" between the ribs which is a hotbed for nerves!"

SP-21 is also located at the weakest point on the rib cage. A break in the ribs can of course puncture the lungs, which if not treated immediately will result in death. On the left side of the body a badly broke rib can also damage the heart or the "aorta."

Spleen 21 also has a direct tie into the Vegas Nerve, which is also referred to as the heart nerve and can therefore affect the functioning of the heart itself. This can result in a drop in blood pressure, irregular heart beats or cardiac arrest.

If you hit outside the area of activation the result will not be as serious to the ribs themselves and will not affect the nerve.  The more accurate the more devastating the results. Can you see What makes a Pressure Point Deadly?

    3) The Arms and Legs

    * Pressure Point LI-10

The final area of interest is the arms and legs. For this example we will look at Pericardium 2 which is located  2 cun below the end of the anterior axillary fold, between the two heads of the biceps brachii muscle.

Aside from tremendous and crippling pain when struck because of the radial nerve breakage or the "humerus bone" can result in damage to the artery and death resulting from bleed-out internally.

From a purely Kyusho Jitsu or Dim Mak standpoint this pressure point is less dangerous than the ones above. However if used in conjunction with as an example LU-03 has a direct effect on the heart. There are other much more dangerous arm and leg pressure points Like LU-05, and SP-11. I am sure by now you can see What makes a Pressure Point Deadly.

Pressure Point LI-10 How to disable the arm for street defense

    * Pressure Point LI-10

When it come to self defense the arms are critical. Often times people will think only of the head and perhaps doing a knockout. However the arms are always the first part of the attacker to present themselves. This makes Pressure Point LI-10 [Large Intestine 10] of utmost importance. So let us discover this pressure point gem!

    Pressure Point LI-10 - Location & Effect

Excerpts from Kyusho Pressure Point Anatomy

"One of the most popular and pressure points to access. Pressure Point LI-10 is located 2 cun below LI-11 on the radial aspect of the radius, in the extensor carpi radialis brevis and longus muscles. Located on the Large Intestine Meridian.

    * Pressure Point LI-10

This pressure point can have a huge effect on the body. A strike straight down and through will paralyze the arm, and in some cases can potentially stop the Heart.

Striking upward causes a shock wave to rise up the arm into the upper body. It will cause a knock out if struck hard enough. When used with ST-09 it has the potential for a deathblow!

This pressure point will affect the entire Large Intestine Meridian, especially around the arm, neck and face.

Hence the reason that ST-09 works really well with this pressure point.

Again, when struck slightly upwards, the lower body will lose Chi and cause nausea.

I have personally seen instances of diarrhea that can last for many days if untreated."

Here is a short video with some information on application of Pressure Point LI-10

In the video I mention our Novice Kyusho Jitsu Certification Workbook which you access here

Right to Self Defense in the 21st Century

    * Right to Self Defense

Right to Self Defense in the 21st Century: In the USA the right to bear arms or even DEFEND yourself is under serious attack, therefore so is the right to self defense! But this is a global issue also! And in reality this should be an unquestionable inalienable right everywhere. But alas it is NOT

It is never the things you know that get you in trouble, it is the things you think you know but do not! And if you are wrong in your view of self defense, like this picture above you could be in handcuffs.

You see, the governments do not want you to protect yourself. They want to protect you! Of course you have to give up rights like privacy to be protected! And you have been giving the right to privacy up on a daily basis for years now! No matter what the powers say. Things like the GDRP are prime example of this. And even the idea that I need a Privacy Policy here shows how much you are being watched.

How does a government protect you? More surveillance, restricted rights and movement. Now i am not saying these measures need to be abandoned. I am saying they are a result of ulterior motives and not just "security." And these were the stepping stones toward the complete regulation of your Right to Self Defense. And we cannot have this happen or lose this right!

Right to Self Defense - Definition

In order to fully understand how your right to self defense is in jeopardy you first need to get  a deep understanding of what self defense means.

"Self Defense or Self Defence is a countermeasure that involves defending the health and well-being of oneself from harm

The use of the right of self-defense as a legal justification for the use of force in times of danger is available in many places in the world but not everywhere."

    * Right to Self Defense

Right to Self Defense - The Legal Definition is provided in the following links

Now from my research here the Right to Self Defense does not really exist in England. There is NO LAW I can find. It is purely up to the Judge in the court to decide. It falls under this catagory and ideal of "common law."

And the way things are in England I think it is safe to assume you must prove your innocence, and not that they must prove your GUILT. Here is an article that discussed the idea that to defend yourself in England is ILLEGAL. And when i come to violence,  England is ON FIRE with knife crimes. In 2017 there were almost 40,000 offenses!

Right to Self Defense - Violations of Self Defense Laws

Kyusho Jitsu Pressure Point Self Defense

Because of the BIG movement world wide to the radical left great attention needs to be paid to any existing laws of self defense and any changes made to them.

Why is this? Because the left is about BIG government and this causes changes to be made to the system to justify it.

When the state gains power, the individual loses power. So let's now get down to what I am talking about!

As a martial artists in any place in the world were you are allowed to protect yourself you can only use reasonable force. In Canada after the incident the police will decide if you meet the criteria by several investigate steps.

    These are as follows.

    1) Are there prior arrests for either party
    2) Are there ANY weapons involved
    3) Have injuries been sustained?
    4) What actions lead up to the incident?
    5) Is this domestic?
    6) do the parties know each other prior to the incident?

As you can see this is not "black and white" but many shades of grey! What you think is "self defense" may in fact be viewed as a FIGHT and charges laid AGAINST YOU for assault!

Right to Self Defense - Reasonable Force

By law you can only use "reasonable force" to end ANY kind of attack. As stated in the video above. In order to accomplish this you must train to control your own emotional responses to the attack.

And the fact you are a trained martial artist will come out in court! Do not be so naive as to think you can hide this! Because of this training you will be expected to tow the line exactly the same as a police officer would be! Here is a LINK that explains "Reasonable Force"  by the Criminal Code of Canada.

Surveillance - Right to Self Defense in the 21st Century

Bight Brothere Right to Self Defense

Today "Big Brother" is watching! Everything we do today is seen by someone. This does have a few good aspects, but for 99% I am fully against this! However, at this point in time there is little to nothing you can do about it.

People walk around day and night videoing everything they see. And this can work both for you and against you in a court of law. Therefore understanding the Laws for Self Defense where you live cannot be overstated.

    Important Side Note:

Today with the ever increasing violence on the streets due to left wing/communist extremest groups like BLM and Antifa the problem grows. While these groups commit violent acts on citizens with imunity, defending yourself against them gets you arrested. Your must learn to fight back properly and safely. Not to help them, but for yourself!

Censorship is the proof! Communism is about censorship! Are you prepared. Chance Favors the Prepared Mind!

    Things you MUST KNOW

Below is a list of things you MUST know in order to make sure you remain on the correct side of the law in the case of an attack.

    1) The LAW. What does it say where you are?
    2) Reasonable force - Self Defense is NOT COMBAT and thinking it is will land you in jail!
    3) Escalation. Seeing the warning sights of an impending attack. And being able to end the threat effectively.

You should be VERY concerned about Right to Self Defense. And this MUST be addressed with the clowns you call leader in government. Always remember they are YOUR EMPLOYEES and not kings. Protect Right to Self Defense in the 21st Century.

Right to Self Defense in the 21st Century in Conclusion

    Kyusho Article CONCLUSION

In order to protect our rights, everything from Free Speech to Self Defense we must be vigilant and make sure we train in ways to always to be within the laws.

This will help to assure is right is never taken from. us.

What are your experiences with self defense? Please tell us about them HERE.

Today in the western world, North America and the UK especially people who defend themselves in a LEGAL and LAWFUL manner are being arrested and charged with a CRIME while their attackers are set free! The corruption of the legal systems and the government is in plain view for all to see!

This means it is time for a different view and practice of self defense! Grab the free video below and get started NOW! The longer you wait, the harder it will be!
