Small Intestine Meridian create fire in the belly

* Small Intestine Meridian

Small Intestine Meridian: The forth in the series of articles on the acupuncture meridians of the body is Small Intestine Meridian. This is also the final in the Fire Meridians of the Upper Extremities. Thus far i have covered Triple WarmerHeart and Pericardium.

So lets begin!

Small Intestine Meridian EPS

The EPS or Element, Striking Action, Polarity are discussed below.

These also include other aspects which are listed and linked for your reference. The meridian starts on the pinky finger on the nail side. It runs up the yang side of the arm and terminates on the face before the ear. You can see the path in the image,

The EPS of the Small Intestine Meridian is as follows. I am providing a lot of links to other articles in this article to make sure that everything is very clear to you. Take your time and learn as much as you can.

The energy is entering the body in the Small Intestine Meridian. This ties into the 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle.

Fire in the Belly

This is something many are not familiar with. Issues in the large intestine manifest as a burning sensation. Often times because of the proximity of the organ and the way the pain radiates people think they are having a heart attack.

So why does this matter? Because in the Western Culture most people's diet are horrendous! This results in not only weak of the stomach but also the small intestine. Therefore understanding all the pressure points on the Small Intestine Meridian is important. Many of the pressure points are highly dangerous. But when organ issues are considered, makes all small intestine strikes worth learning and using.

Important Pressure Points of Small Intestine Meridian

Small Intestine Meridian

There are 19 pressure points on the small intestine meridian. However today lets take a look at 3 of the most important.

Where possible I will link to detailed articles on the point. However you might wish to look into Kyusho Pressure Point Anatomy, or the Online Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu to cover every pressure point on the body.

This meridian is well worth you attention

In Conclusion

Kyusho Article CONCLUSION

Over the coming weeks I will cover all the 12 Meridians of the body as well as the 2 Vessels. I hope you take time to read them all.  Learning the science of pressure point self defense called Kyusho Jitsu requires time and dedication.

If you are new to Kyusho Jitsu you can begin free with my 10 Lesson Kyusho Mini Course.

Pericardium Meridian The Power of Heart 2

* Pericardium Meridian

Pericardium Meridian: Today we are entering into the 3rd in a series of articles on the Acupuncture Meridians of the body. The first article was on the Triple Warmer or Triple Heater Meridian. And the second article on the Heart Meridian.  The study, and understanding of the meridian systems of the body is critical in the study of Kyusho Jitsu.

 This article will break down the basics of the meridian, its EPS, and also discuss some of the most important pressure points along the meridian for self defense work.

Pericardium Meridian

First lets take a look at the EPS of Pericardium. Pericardium is also known as Heart 2, and I will use both references for it. The pericardium is the sack that surrounds and protects the heart organ itself.

Heart 2 begins at the outer aspect of the nipple and down the center of the Yin side or inner aspect of the arm. And terminates at the end of the middle finger.

The EPS of the Pericardium Meridian is as follows. I am providing a lot of links to other articles in the article to make sure that everything is very clear to you.

Important Pressure Points on Pericardium Meridian

The Pericardium Meridian

Here are some of the very important pressure points found on the Pericardium Meridian. Each pressure point will have a link to articles with detailed information.

The first in the list, PC-06 is one of my personal favorite pressure points on the body. This pressure point is a very important pressure point for doing Kyusho Setup. PC-06 also falls into some other categories of special pressure points listed below.

The above are extremely important types of pressure points and I encourage you to read both articles when you can.

Pressure Point PC-02 is another very important pressure point on the Pericardium Meridian. It is a crippling pressure point when hit hard and does have the potential to be lethal.

Pericardium Meridian In Conclusion

Pericardium Meridian CONCLUSION

The study of Kyusho Jitsu requires you to develop a vast knowledge. There is always more to learn.

This is the reason why many alleged martial art master attack the study. They are either to lazy, too egotistical, or too stupid to learn.

In our world today people want instant results and gratification. That is now, and always has been the road to failure. If you are new to the study of Kyusho Jitsu please checkout my Free 10 Lesson Kyusho Mini Course

Thank you for reading this article on the Pericardium Meridian.

The Heart Meridian – Important Pressure Point Study

* The Heart Meridian

The Heart Meridian: Today I am going to begin a series of articles that will focus the different acupuncture / Kyusho Jitsu meridians of the human body.

Back some time ago I did an article on the Triple Warmer Meridian, as well as wrote a book called Mastering Triple Warmer Meridian.

I will not be writing a book on the Heart Meridian as its properties, unlike Triple Warmer, are pretty straight forward.

The Heart Meridian we will discuss, is the primary meridian of the heart energy system. Heart 2 which is better known in Kyusho Jitsu terms is Pericardium Meridian is the second of the 2 meridians. I will go over this meridian in a later article.

Heart 1 begins in the armpit and travels down the inner or YIN aspect of the arm and terminates at the end of the pinky finger. You can see the path clearly in the illustration.

* Best Combat Pressure Points

Heart Meridian EPS

The EPS of the meridian is as follows. I am providing a lot of links to other articles in the article to make sure that everything is very clear to you.

The energy is leaving the body in the Heart Meridian. This ties into the 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle.

Important Pressure Points on the Heart Meridian

There are several very important pressure points on the meridian when it comes to the destructive side known as Kyusho Jitsu. Healing aspects are much more involved. I have a course on Pressure Point healing, and also a book on the 5 Element Theory if you would like more information.

Here is a listing of the 3 Heart Pressure Points I consider to be the most powerful and important in the study of pressure points.

  1. Pressure Point HT-01
  2. New Article on Pressure Point HT-02
  3. HT-03

And once again I am providing links to detailed articles on these pressure points. At a later date I will write an article on HT-02 and link it back here.

The effects of striking a pressure point on the Heart Meridian will vary. Often times students believe that there will be an immediate and direct effect on the heart, however this is much more involved that it appears. One thing to remember is the 12 meridians of the body are a circulatory system like blood flow. And the health of the body comes from this system being in balance.

If the system becomes out of balance with a strike there can be immediate results like a knockout, sever pain and the inability to use the part of the body struck. An expert can cause delayed results like with Dim Mak.

In Conclusion of the Heart Meridian

Heart Meridian CONCLUSION

In a sense I am giving you in this new series of articles information like found in my Online Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu.

I do strongly suggest reading all the related articles to this and other articles on the meridian system of the body.If you have any questions please use the form below. I will respond via email to all questions.

Thank you for reading this article on the Heart Meridian.

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study. Secrets to Researching

* Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study: I have been teaching Kyusho Jitsu for a long time now. But in reality I have not stopped learning. As Bruce Lee said "All knowledge is self knowledge" and I am only pointing the way to understanding for those interested.

What I can do with pressure points is really of no value to you. It is what you can do with them that matters.

All I am is a medium for information for to you. and a key to Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study.

We live in a very odd time in history, one in which you are told "trust the experts." This is in my view, a criminal LIE. Why should I trust what anyone says? Stop talking and show me you are right!  The "experts" authoritarian attitude shows everything.

Sorry, but I look into everything and make up my own mind. And anyone who tells me the above is a crook in my view. And I call bullshit when I see it too!

I present a ton of pressure point information on this blog, and I hope you find it of value. But I want you to take the information and make it work for you! The fact I can do a knockout on pressure point SP-11 means nothing.  It is my job to give you the information and inspiration to do this yourself.

None of my courses are about me. They are not pretty, they are just about real working information.  In my opinion showing off is pathetic.

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study - Secrets to Researching

Anyone who talks about life being easy is selling something. To make Kyusho Jitsu work, for Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study, you must do the work. And all those clowns on social media saying Kyusho is fake are doing so because they are either too stupid to understand pressure points, or too lazy and egotistical to do the work. And I hope these failures find me offensive also.

Doing the work means not just an intellectual understanding, but also working with a training partner or UKE. And as many different ones as possible. In other words I do not want you to believe me! I want you to do the work for yourself.

People need to get out of this idea of instant gratification. That is a 1000 percent lie.

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

Some who study are interested in rank, many are not. Either is correct. The martial arts world fusses far to much about rank like it is something sacred. This again is all ego. For some people this is a very motivational subject. I was once that way also. But I have been "danned" so many times I have no interest any longer.

I speak little of my rank. And the "grand master" title was something I accepted once I became a grand father. For me it means head of the family.   However if rank is what someone is looking for, I am there to support you. I just want you to do the work.

Martial art study is a lifetime journey and we never arrive.  While I am not in favor of style jumping, learning about other arts and what they have to offer is mind expanding. But not without a solid base. In my Dojo you had to be a Black Belt to study Kyusho Jitsu.

And in order to obtain a 4th Dan in my system of Hon Sang Mu Sa Hapkido you had to be a 1st Dan Black Belt in Kyusho Jitsu.  I also encouraged at the level of 3rd Dan to train in some other art also. Many of my people got involved in Modern Arnis with Master Ken Smith. Others focused on the Hapkido Cane.

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study - In Conclusion

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study: I have been teaching Kyusho Jitsu for a long time now. But in reality I have not stopped learning. As Bruce Lee said "All knowledge is self knowledge" and I am only pointing the way to understanding for those interested. What I can do with pressure points is really of no value to you. It is what you can do with them that matters. All I am is a medium for information for to you. CONCLUSION

Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study comes from dedication on training and learning. And it is an epic journey! I still learn things about Kyusho. And I am over 20 years of intense focus on the subject. Plus now I am seeing how it exists naturally in many of the complete martial arts systems like Kosho Shorie Ryu and Aikido to name two.
