Kidney Meridian: Welcome to the next article in the series on acupuncture meridians of the human body. Today the 3rd article focusing on the meridians of the lower extremities. That is the Kidney Meridian.

Kidney Meridian EPS
The EPS or Element, Striking Action, Polarity of Kidney are discussed below.
These also include other aspects which are listed and linked for your reference also. The meridian starts on the bottom of the feet. It runs up the yin aspect of the leg and terminates on the at the collar bone. You can see the path in the image above,

- Polarity - Yin
- Striking Action - Grasping
- Time of Day - 17:00 to 19:00
- Colours - Blue Destructive, Black Healing

The energy enters the body on the Kidney Meridian. This ties into the 24-Hour Diurnal Cycle.

- Pressure Point KD-21
- KD-10
- Pressure Point KD-17
You will find that the Kidney Meridian has many dangerous pressure points on it. In my articles thus far, I have only focused on KD-21 because of its ease of attack. Pressure Point KD-10 is also a Dim Mak pressure point.
