Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle

The Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle

The Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle

Beginning in Novice Kyusho Jitsu study and carrying on far into the master levels including Dim Mak is the Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle. Many student believe this cycle to be of little use. However this could not be further from the truth. The fact is that the Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle is a cornerstone principle of pressure point study. It is also essential for success. So today lets dive deep into this advanced principle.

Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle - Breakdown

First let us take a few moments and do a breakdown of the cycle. It is critical for any Kyusho Jitsu student to memorize this cycle and be able to recite it from any part forward and backwards!

24 Hour Cycle - 1st 12 Hours

  • 3:00 am - 5:00 am - Lung
  • 5:00 am - 7:00 am - Large Intestine
  • 7:00 am - 9:00 am - Stomach
  • 9:00 am to 11:00 am - Spleen
  • 11:00 am - 1:00 pm - Heart
  • 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Small Intestine
24 Hour Cycle - 2nd 12 Hours

  • 3:00 pm -5:00 pm - Bladder
  • 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Kidney
  • 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Pericardium
  • 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm Triple Warmer
  • 11:00 pm - 1:00 am - Gall Bladder
  • 1:00 am - 3:00 am - Liver

So what exactly is this? In the healing arts this is the energy flow cycle of the 12 meridians of the body. Note the Yin/Yang parts? This is extremely important as the study progresses! The time itself denotes the "reboot" period for the organ and therefore it become most vulnerable at this time.

Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle

Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle

So as an example the Gall Bladder meridian is at its most vulnerable from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am. Therefore attacking GB-20 will have a more devastating effect. Since this is also the height of drinking time in the bars, and alcohol weakens the Gall Bladder this adds to the effect.

But this information applies more to Dim Mak than anything else. The reason being is most people are not that time conscious. However with training you could be!

Below is a 6 minute video going into great details on the Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle. This video is part of our Kyusho Jitsu Home Study Courses. You can learn more about these and the great deal on the 1st Dan Black Belt Course HERE.

When it comes to the Kyusho Jitsu 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle there is much to learn! For the student of the science of pressure point self defense the direction of energy flow is the most important. And then taking this back to the "Cycle of Destruction" [Get a FREE Video Here] and the Attack with Yin/Yang Principle.

More to come! Study hard, keep vigilant and ask questions!

    Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting

    Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting

    Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting

    Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting

Are you aware that ONLY 2-3% of the population has written goal? Have you noticed the correlation between success and written goals? All of the 2-3 % of people that the current political climate wants you to HATE is this percentage with written goals. This should be telling you something.  So today we will discuss the idea of Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting.

Success leaves clues. It always has. And most martial artists, at least the ones who train long and hard enough to achieve a Black Belt in their root art understand this. But often something happens. After the goal is reached they slow down and even stop training. The funny thing is the way martial art training is setup it automatically teaches goal setting. You want to reach the next belt level. Sadly students often do not see past that 1st Dan Black Belt. This is a lack of a long term goal! Something we work hard at my school in Canada to overcome.

Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting - Why set goals?
    Kyusho Jitsu Black Belt

    Kyusho Jitsu Black Belt

People are goal seeking creatures. It is hard wired into us.  This is the reason why you "want" things. And NO this is NOT a bad thing! But school does not teach you how to get the things you want. In fact school itself teaches things of virtually little or no value any longer.  When you do not set goals life has little value and meaning. This would also explain the very high rate of depression in the world as the powers that be keep talking about being entitled to things. Sorry, no one is entitled to anything

This is one reason that I believe it so important to teach children martial arts. Why it is important for them to earn and achieve rank. Because it will make them strong and ambitious adults. All of my children are martial artists! Now I know some martial artist will disagree with this. But it is time to but the close minded opinions and envy away and build a generation of STRONG children!

This is equally important for adults too! Goals should never end! At least as long as we are still breathing.

Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting - How to do it!
Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting Ask Questions!

Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting Ask Questions!

You need different levels of goals. One of the issues with goal setting is people make a big lofty long term goal, fail to reach it and say "this does not work" and quit! So lets break this down now.

    • Daily Goals - You need a reason to get up in the morning! This does not have to be anything difficult, but some routine that has a result. Kyusho students can set the goal of spending 15 minutes per day in study! Build this habit and soon you will see a result!
    • Weekly Goals - This one needs to be a little bit larger! For me I have different videos I produce on a weekly basis. They are done the same time each week. This also means I have to prepare for them! it feels really good when I post them!
    • Monthly Goals - Next we need monthly goals. I am sure you are getting the idea!
    • Short and Long Term Goals - Next we look at goals for perhaps a year, 2 years, 5 years. These are all based on the first set of goals and can become variable!  People will often make the long term goals ridiculous. Don't do this! The basic goals must lead to the long term goals. You are not going to be a millionaire unless you have a growing business headed that way. And winning a lottery is not a goal.
Kyusho Jitsu Goal Setting - Kyusho can help

I work hard to inspire my students to learn and train. Kyusho Jitsu can not only increase your understanding of your root art system. And not just increase your odds in an attack. It can also help you to understand and learn to set goals.

    The 12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians

    12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians

    12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians

This is a followup article on one I did last week that got me a lot of questions and feedback from those interested in learning more about the science of pressure point self defense. [Kyusho Jitsu Pressure Point Anatomy] So today lets talk about the 12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians on the human body. I will give you a detailed breakdown and a special gift at the end of the article for reading.

12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians - Upper Extremities

The first basic breakdown of the meridians is to divide the body into upper and lower extremities. This being said there are 6 meridians for upper and 6 for lower. Plus this is further divided into 3 Yin and 3 Yang meridians for each set. If you have not already done so I highly recommend reading the article linked above.

    Small Intestine Meridian

    Small Intestine Meridian

As we look at the 12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians of the upper extremities we will see the Yin/Yang pair and also an element relationship for each. So lets do this breakdown below now.

    Yin Meridians
    1. Heart - Fire Element
    2. Pericardium (sometimes called Heart 2) - Fire Element
    3. Lung - Metal Element
    Yang Meridians
    1. Triple Warmer - Fire Element
    2. Small Intestine - Fire Element
    3. Large Intestine - Metal Element

Something else to note. The flow of energy in the Yin Meridians is leaving the body. This is sometimes also referred to as traveling "south." Energy on the Yang Meridians is entering the body, or traveling "North."

12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians - Lower Extremities

Now we will look at the Lower Extremities. Once again we have 3 Yin and 3 Yang pairs, plus a change in direction for energy. You can also note that the meridian enter the head or not entering the head has nothing to do with this classification. The meridian systems runs very deep in the body and we are only discussing what can be accessed from the surface.

    Kidney Meridian

    Kidney Meridian

    Yin Meridians
    1. Liver - Wood Element
    2. Spleen - Earth Element
    3. Kidney - Water Element
    Yang Meridians
    1. Gall Bladder - Wood Element
    2. Stomach - Earth Element
    3. Bladder [Urinary] - Water Element

And as I mentioned the energy flow direction is reversed for the 12 Kyusho Jitsu Meridians of the Lower Extremities. Here the Yin Meridians energy flow is "North" or entering the body, while the Yang Meridians is "South" or exiting the body. All meridians are reflected on both sides of the body. Therefore depending on how you look at it, you can say 24 total. However conventional language is to only discuss one side.

    Advanced Kyusho Jitsu Striking Actions

An auto mechanic knows that for every job there is a tool. Sometimes these are very specialized tools, but they do exist. Just like for every pressure point there is a "way" to strike them. But sometimes it requires Advanced Kyusho Jitsu Striking Actions to get the job done properly and with the greatest affect.

Advanced Kyusho Jitsu Striking Actions - Heart 8

You may already be familiar with the power of the pressure point HT-08. This spot on the body releases more energy than any other. Is there a way to take advantage of this? To be able to use this in a self defense situation to get a more predictable, more devastating result?

    Yes there most certainly is!

In every martial art system there are the convention methods of attack. There is the punch, which is the most common and the least effective. Then there is the knife hand, and ridge hand which are much better than the punch. Finally there is the palm, which of the 3 is the most devastating. But it is the most challenging to use as it does not fit every situation. So everyone goes back to the punch.

The funny thing about the punch is that most martial artist i have seen do not understand the mechanics of a punch, and use a sport version. This is designed to be safer. Some will condition their hands to make the weapon more powerful This is fine if done properly. But most people are not familiar with the proper way. This causes damage and pain later in life.

There are reason for each different "tool" being either more or less effective. A fist, especially if it is held tightly, with the thumb too far inward conceals energy. A knife hand has a better angular effect, and the edge focuses the power better. The palm is best because it can use the energy at HT-08 to enhance the effect.

    Kyusho Pressure Point Activation

Kyusho Pressure Point Activation - Heart Meridian

So most people will then turn to elbows, knees and feet as additional weapons. The issues is these are higher risk or limited range.

The 6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu

There are solutions to this issue. However they do require more study and more training! These are the Advanced Kyusho Jitsu Striking Actions that I call the 6 Energy Hands. The 6 Energy Hands are specific hand positions, that release energy and have a specific function against certain pressure points.

These fit the occasion like a hand in a glove!

6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu

6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu

The 6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu

There are many mysteries in the science of pressure point self defense. Some o them are talked about, but often times they are not really taught or explained well. The 6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu is a great example of this! I have seen many video demonstrations of these 6 hands. And even some live displays. But they really don't teach it!

    Until now that is!

6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu - Striking tools

When it comes to martial art training there are really only 3 basic tools taught. And these are taught today based on developing as much power as is possible. That is why students spend endless hours kicking and punching 100 pound plus heavy bags. This is a very common practice for "fighters" and the hard styles of martial art training. And there is nothing wrong with this. However it does not mean that it is the only way.

Are you aware that a fist conceals energy? The more tightly held the more energy that is concealed. Also MOST people do not know how to properly made a FIST! The is a mechanically correct way!

6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu

    Kyusho Jitsu Striking Actions

And the fist is notably the worst of all striking tools. It conceals energy and if make poorly like the example to the left can cause wrist injury. Not to mention damage to hand itself.

When you have to "condition" something to use it, you also need to ask questions as to why? Perhaps it is not the best weapon?

This why the palm strike and/or knife hand is a superior weapon. Open hand release energy!

6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu - Striking Actions

The science of pressure point self defense also employees "striking actions" which dramatically increase the effectiveness of your strike. These are element based actions, which means the strike is actually against the element of the meridian. Therefore getthing the best affect or result. If you are not familiar with these below is the breakdown.

    • Slapping - Fire
    • Vibrating - Metal
    • Chopping - Wood
    • Penetrating - Earth
    • Grasping - Water

All of the above actions also get their best result with an "open hand" as a weapon. The exception can be water, however the fist is very loose upon impact! It goes from fully open to closed on impact.

Understand the 6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu

Now there is much more to learn! You will often see in the ancient Chinese arts, and let's face it the root of all martial arts is China, different open handed techniques. Often times these are based on the animal styles. And that is great! But there are 6 that stand out, and these are the 6 Ji Energy Hands of Bubishi.  Now here I am using the term the 6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu because we are going to be using Kyusho Jitsu applications with it!

You will find a lot of different demonstrations and information about the 6 Ji Energy Hands of Kyusho Jitsu online. So what makes what I am referring to different? I am not just going to show it and talk about it. I am going to TEACH IT!

    Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development

    Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development

    Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development

Before I go into the details as to why Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development is very important I must first make clear exactly what Chi is and why it is important to every aspect of life.

Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development - What is Chi?

What is Chi really? Does Chi exist? Lets take a deeper look.

Science will be happy to tell you there is no such thing as Chi. What is Chi really? Why does main stream science say it does not exist?  The answer is easy, there is no funding in it.  Today, very sadly science has become a business, creating results based on FUNDING, and not FACT.  To see this all you need to do is look at the bombardment of drugs ads on TV for conditions that the drug itself gives as a side effect. (Like anti depressants causing suicidal thoughts).

    Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development

    Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development

    3 Circulation Systems

The human body, all mammals actually have 3 different circulatory systems. They are as follows:

  • Cardiovascular (Gets the most attention)
  • Water balance ( which cleans the cells via the Lymph system, gets ignored)
  • Chi or Ki (Is denied by main stream science)

  • Therefore the first thing to think of to understand Chi is that the body is basically a bio-mechanical suit. It runs on electricity.  All movement, bodily functions and thought run via electrical impulses in the brain and the nervous system.  Chi is an electrical current that runs on the outside of the nerves because of an electric principle called induction. Very similar to a transformer.

Proper Chi flow in the body is a result of good health and proper functioning of the body systems.  And Vice-Versa. This is the basis of Chinese medicine and acupuncture.  Acupuncture corrects body health by reestablishing proper chi flow.  Each systems affects the other systems. The explanation is over simplified, but I know you get the idea!

    Chi Development

Developing strong body Chi will lead to many things! However the most important is HEALTH!Therefore you need to be doing this! Next is the ability to help others heal, and finally it can be used in self defense. I know that sounds crazy, but it is true. The art of Dim Mak was based on this very idea!

Here is a video to teach how to create a Chi Ball.

There are ways to do it. Mediation was once believed to be the only way to get a result.  While meditation is certainly important, there are ways to jump start the process. Below are the links you need to start now!

    1. Free Chi Manipulation eBook. This is the best way to get started Follow this LINK to get your copy!
    2. Chi Combat Module. We offer a full course of different aspects of developing and using Chi. This one is about the ability to integrate it into you martial art. This LINK will take you to learn more!
Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development - Kyusho Aspects

So how important is Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development to making Kyusho Jitsu effective? You can certainly study the science of pressure point self defense purely from the idea of nerve strikes and make it work. However you will find that is is far more effective when you incorporate all the principles, theories and YES the Chi work with! This all types back to striking actions, some which are very effective and others far less effective.

Kyusho Jitsu does not require any special conditioning of the hands, and unless you are studying iron palm with a real master I do not recommend it! It is far more productive to learn to manipulate your Chi and use this instead. Plus Kyusho Jitsu Chi Development also builds increased focus as well as "intention" which is a critical principle of controlling ones own mind.

You will always get the results if you put in the work!

    Understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol

The Yin-Yang Symbol is one of the most misunderstood symbols we have today. It is very old and is taken on a very superficial level by most martial arts teachers and even many spiritual masters. For years I thought I understood it! But today I am constantly realizing how much there is to it! One of the issues of course with something this old is tranlations. Translations can be very self serving for the translator.

But we see that all the time. So today lets take a deeper look. But this is only going to be the tip of the iceberg!

Understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol - Meaning

If you have ever been in a room with me you will know I have a Yin-Yang symbol with some Chinese writing on my arm. I did this many years before I had any clue of what they symbol meant. I also used it as part of my school crest. The reason I used it was first the symbol was and is public domain. And it also symbolizes balance. I was asked once by an old woman in China Tow Toronto if I understood it. From my explanation it was obvious I did not.

However when it comes to understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol that is like saying the sky is blue!

Many years ago I studied to some extent the religions of the world. Often time when people do this come back believing nothing. That was not the case with me. It caused me to search more for truth. It also made me see the many lies about the ancient civilizations and the things we have been told about them.  They were far more advanced then we have been told! But that is for another time.

Often times the Yin-Yang Symbol is looked at as opposites. There is truth in this. It does superficially represent the duality of existence. Example of this are:

    • Yin - Negative - Yang -Positive
    • Dark - Light
    • Right - left
    • Up - down

I know you get the idea. But in truth they are not really opposites because as an example there is no pure good, or pure evil. now religion will argue with me on that. However they do not actually have an argument!

The world, the universe is a cycle. Good travels and finds evil, evil faces redemption and leads to good.

    Understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol

Understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol - The Kyusho Principle

One of the most important of the 15 Principles of Kyusho Jitsu is the Principle of Attack using Yin and Yang. This is one of my personal favorite principles because it works on everyone!  The 24 Hour Diurnal Cycle is divided into Yin-Yang pairs. And you will not there are always 2 like pairs together.

    Why is that?

Because opposites do not attract! Like attracts like. And this is a law of nature. Here is where someone will say "like poles of a magnet repel each other." In actually this is not what is happening. Putting like poles of a magnet together is like trying to separate the Yin-Yang itself. It cannot be done because you are trying to stop the energy flow! One cannot exist without the other.

Even the way in which the symbol itself sits has an affect. I talked about this in my Esoteric Kyusho Jitsu Video Series, and it will be a MAJOR part of the Quantum Kyusho Jitsu Project. The power of the Yin-Yang Symbol and what it represents cannot be over looked!

Understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol - Trinity not Duality

Only from a very superficial viewpoint can the Yin-Yang Symbol be looked at as a duality. It in fact is a trinity. It represent the extremes and the subsequent balance.  And it is represented by math also. Specifically the numbers 3, 6 and 9.

Quantum Kyusho Jitsu & Yin Yang Theories

Quantum Kyusho Jitsu & Yin Yang Theories

You can see here in this image the numbers representing each part. Do you see anything else? The position of the numbers?

This is important and powerful information!

It will beyond the scope of a blog post to explain all this! It really requires a video or a book! Perhaps both! The 3 numbers and the math they represent are very complex. And there are no other numbers like 3,6 and 9. Nikola Tesla stated these numbers are the key to everything and after much research I see his point!

Now you can certainly begin to research all the information I have on the Yin-Yang Symbol, or you can checkout the Quantum Kyusho Jitsu Project, especially Quantum Kyusho Jitsu 360 which will be specifically about understanding the Yin-Yang Symbol

Kyusho Close Quarters Combat [Self Defense]

    Kyusho Close Quarters Combat

    Kyusho Close Quarters Combat

    Kyusho Close Quarters Combat

I will tell you from the beginning I am not a fan of the term "combat" when it comes to self defense. It in my mind can be somewhat misleading. The majority of people who will read this post are not military men and women. They are civilians like me. What is the difference? Combat is a different mindset. Self Defense another. But, for the sake of the way people view things, lets talk today to see if there are Kyusho Close Quarters Combat solutions.

For the get-go I will state emphatically YES, there are Kyusho Close Quarters Combat Solution. We also have to remember that in the science of pressure point self defense, Kyusho Jitsu is implemented into a martial art style or system to enhance it! So depending on the style you train in, will come the direct techniques to handle close quarters fighting.

Now my root art is Hapkido, and so there is a lot of in close techniques we have for use in these kinds of situations. But today I am going to address a question I saw on Quora about Kyusho Close Quarters Combat. The question is "Which fighting style is best in enclosed spaces such as in buses or planes?"

    Kyusho Close Quarters Combat

My own personal experience teaching this comes from a law in Ontario which greatly restricts the right of self defense to "public servants." People in this category are teachers, firemen, civil servants, ambulance paramedics etc, etc.  In their great lack of knowledge, understanding and common sense and because of a fear of "law suites" the government of the province implemented a course called "non violence crisis intervention."

    Kyusho Close Quarters Combat

    Kyusho Close Quarters Combat

A patient turning violent inside an ambulance is one of the most dangerous situations a medic can face. They deal with many different potentially dangerous situations such as drug abuse and serious mental disorders. Are you in a similar job?

Humane Pressure Point Tactics offers real solutions!

Not only is this non violent crisis intervention total garbage, but it is dangerous to the defender! Yes I have seen the course! But someone, someday will get killed because of it! I can certainly understand the idea of reasonable force, but this is ridiculous!

I was because of the program asked to teach a class of people who were in school to become paramedics. Now there is a "hole" in the law because when the patient is in the ambulance and turns violent the government regulation no longer applies! Therefore I was able to teach them "real" Kyusho Close Quarters Combat techniques to defend themselves.

This leads to the question, "what did I teach?" I taught them the Level One and Two Humane Pressure Point Tactics [H.P.P.T]

    Humane Pressure Point Tactics

Kyusho Jitsu does not teach techniques. It does reference them, and demonstrate using them, however it assumes martial arts training. HPPT is different. This is a from the ground up training to handle the 3 main types or escalations of attacks.

What are the "escalation" points I am referring to?

    1. Before a physical attack! Handling and hopefully deescalating a bad situation or disruptive person before things go bad. This includes preemptive measure to control the situation. All while remaining within the laws of self defense
    2. Dealing with thee situation once the attack as begun. This includes a grab or a punch. Close quarter self defense is naturally a part of this.
    3. High end self defense. This is when a weapon has been seen or introduced. I also teach skills to effectively deal with multiple attackers.

Back in 2010 I certified in all 3 Levels of Grand Master Steve Stewart's HPPT Courses. It is an amazing courses. However I have updated the information I have learn to deal with the ever changing situations of today's streets!

I am a BIG critic of the education system in the west. Especially in my home province of Ontario Canada. The reason is very simple, they are not teaching the skills needed for the children and young adults graduating to be successful in life. There is a path to success in life and to successful Kyusho Jitsu study, which has the same rules!

There is a saying that education is key to success in life. However there is a misrepresentation here. It is NOT so much what subject you take that dictates this as much as the skills you develop to learn the subject at hand.

Today in Ontario kids come out of school with virtually no math skills (they can't even count back change) and cursive writing is no longer taught! EPIC FAIL!

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

However there is a formula to successful Kyusho Jitsu Study. And this can be applied to learning anything you wish to learn! It is about habits! Good habits that can and will help you your entire life!

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

Do you know it takes about 21 days to instill or break a habit? Consistency is the key! Here is a fantastic article written on this by Brian Tracy. If you have not looked at Brian Tracy's work definitely do so!

Setup Your Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

Here are some of the things that will help you to develop good Kyusho Jitsu Study habits!

    1) Set time aside for study!

It does not have to be a lot of time! It is best to do it daily, and even 15 minutes is sufficient! If you can dedicate more time you will progress faster, but don't set aside so much time as it causes you to miss!

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

This is why smaller intervals are best!

    2) Organize your materials!

As an example if you are studying from our Novice Kyusho Jitsu Home Study Course watch one video per session.  If some of the information is not clear then write down questions to reference later. Also schedule to review the videos again at a later time. Review is critical to successful Kyusho Jitsu study!

    3) Make your notes hand written!

You will retain much more of what you learn by taking hand written notes! Here is an interesting article on this! Writing is also better then printing! If you have poor handwriting practice will help make it better.

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

    Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

Plus you can always re-write your notes later. When I was in Grand Master Steve Stewart's classes I hand wrote my notes, and transposed them to computer later.

    4) Ask questions!

People are often times shy to ask questions. They worry that they are bothering someone, or that perhaps the question is stupid. I am always happy to answer any question from anyone who asks!

    Ask Questions!

    Ask Questions!

It can take me up to about 24 hours sometimes to respond. I do give priority to Coaching Students or anyone who is on our various courses. But I set aside time each morning to answer any and all questions. The only bad questions are the ones not asked!

    5) Take your time!

For some odd reason people are always in a hurry to complete something. Always remember it is the journey not the destination. There is great joy in learning!

Set your GOALS - Key to Successful Kyusho Jitsu Study

What is your reason for studying the science of pressure point self defense? Are you doing it primarily for personal information? Or perhaps you are thinking of becoming an Kyusho Jitsu Teacher?

My first coach was Grand Master Stephen Oliver. I had just left my full time, very well paying job at Chrysler Canada to run my Dojo full time. I need to quantum leap my business understanding otherwise I was sure to fail.

This was a great experience! We did coaching calls, I was allow to attend any of his many seminars, which were expensive FREE! I also had unlimited email access to him. He put everything into this program! And it cost me $1000 per month USD.

Then in 2007 I began Grand Master Keith Hafner's Coaching Program. This was only $500 per month but was worth much more! The reason I wanted to do this one over GM Oliver's was not the price. I did it because I could drive to Ann Arbor to attend monthly full day classes.  Ann Arbor was a 60 minute drive. Denver was a 5 hour flight!
