Sometimes there are arts within other arts. And when it comes to the science of pressure point self defense Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing is an art within an art. This is a very advanced principle and one of the most difficult to do with accuracy.
But if you can figure it out. You will discover the "POWER" that lies in this understanding.
As I know you are aware in Kyusho Jitsu we deal with the ancient 5 Element Theory. What this means is that every person is obviously comprised of each of the 5 elements. However each person has a "predominance" of what particular element. And once you can accurately and quickly perform a Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing you can apply the Cycle of Destruction and increase your effectiveness.
Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing Breakdown
i can tell you from the onset that it is beyond the scope of a single article to teach you how to do this. Today I will give you an outline, and you see how you do with it. But I will tell you some people are easy. While others are very difficult. And today with the obesity epidemic is is harder than ever to be accurate.
So lets take look.
First we will look at the fire person. Now I am a fire person. But I hide it well with a beard. In this article I am only going to discuss the "physical" attributes, not the personality, which is also part of the equation.
Fire Person
- Broad shoulders.
- Muscular build
- V Shaped head, with a pointed chin
- Small hands and feet
- Less hair on the head and body (Balding does not count)
Earth Person
- Large body and head
- Barrel chested
- Distended belly but not necessarily overweight
- Wide jaw
Metal Person
- Triangular build
- Lean Body but muscular
- Strong authoritative voice.
Wood Person
- Small head
- Long face
- slender build
- Average size feet and hands
Water Person
- Rounded shoulders
- Out of balance features
- Round body
- Odd looking back
This is only as I said the TIP of the iceberg when it comes to Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing.
However these are the most predominant qualities and a great place to start. I would also like to note that it is almost impossible to body type a teenager. They need to be fully gown first.
Kyusho Jitsu Body Typing in Conclusion
I could really write an entire book on this topic. It is really that involved!
So how do you get good at this?
Take these samples and start to study people. And take notes! When you think you have figured out someone body type, then write down everything else you see about them.
Especially pay attention to mannerisms and personality traits! As an example if you are sure your best friend is earth. Keeping track of his personality will tell you a lot! The next time you encounter someone you think is also earth make a comparison!
