I have been asked a few times recently what a "Beginners Kyusho Jitsu Pressure Point Class" teaching would look like in a Dojo. Hence I do not have an actual video example for you as I have not been in Canada teaching a class in years.
And I have not really pushed it here in Romania locally because of language issues. So let's take a minute and break it down for you!
The class is a lecture style environment, with the students typically seated on the floor. Therefore information is given, and notes are taken by the students during class time. And at various points, depending on which lesson we are at there are training exercises with partners to begin the application segment. Therefore it is a rather structured atmosphere.
And the class typically the runs 2.5 to 3 hours. Which are conducted monthly. Everything and I mean everything is systematized to give the best possible environment! Questions and answers are taken at different points in the presentation. After the first class, every class then includes an hour of review. The information is complex and must be memorized to be effective! Most of all the class needs to move at a slow and steady pace to assure student comprehension.
Below is a video of a sample lesson in in what a Kyusho Jitsu Pressure Point Class for beginners would look like.
This was recorded last winter with several Kyusho Jitsu University Gold Members online watching. And due to me not wishing to deal with privacy laws you do not see them. or know who there are.
So have a watch of this sample Beginners Kyusho Jitsu Pressure Point Class!
